1970's mediterranean pink coral necklace
We're not sure if it's our italian heritage, but we've always had a mild obsession with vintage coral jewellery. This tesoro is a mini bib branch single strand necklace made from a delicate pink mediterranean coral. Wear it on it's own for a pop or colour or stack it as we've done.
How do you know your coral is real?
there are chemical tests involving lemon juice or vinegar and dyed coral may transfer colour when rubbed. the simplest way to tell is weight and feel; tiny pores and pits, natural patterns, grains and imperfections indicate authenticity.

an incredible relic from the victoria era, a silver plated belt buckle motif cuff bracelet, that fastens on a hinge. it's got a wonderful patina that seems to pick out the details of the design, along the edges, and tracing parts of the belt buckle.
